French Press (Immersion): Use a 1:12 to 1:16 ratio with coarse grounds. Steep for 4 minutes before plunging, yielding a rich, full-bodied coffee.



•Pour-Over (Percolation): Place a filter in a device like a Hario V60 or Chemex, rinse it with hot water, add medium-fine grounds, and pour water in a slow, spiral motion. Takes 2:30–3:30 minutes.



•Auto-Drip Maker: The most convenient method for larger batches. Ensure a quality brewer is used for even extraction.



•Aeropress: Combines pressure and immersion for a quick, versatile, and concentrated brew.

Brewing Essentials

The Golden Ratio: Use 1 gram of coffee for every 16 grams of water (1:16) for a balanced brew.
Water Quality: Use filtered water, as coffee is water.
Temperature: Aim for 195 - 205 (degrees F) If it is too hot, the coffee will be bitter; if too cold, it will taste weak and sour.
Grind Size:
Coarse (Sea salt): French Press, Cold Brew.
